32 sp101
32 sp101
I have a sp in 32 h&r magnum , and was thinking of having the chambers lengthened to accept .327 magnum, question is,does the cost make it worth while,or should I leave it as is and buy a .327. I don't think the H&R version is going to be collectable.
Re: 32 sp101
Probably be less costly to just buy a SP101 in .327 Federal and keep the .32 as is...and then you have two guns which is always better!
I has a SP101 .32 rechambered to .327 Federal Mag when the cartridge was first introduced, I think it was back in 2007 or 2008. The work was done by my friend Hamilton Bowen at Bowen Classic Arms. He also put a S&W adjustable rear sight on it for me. Its quite a shooter and special to me. Cost quite a bit but $$$s well spent in my opinion!

Re: 32 sp101
I would like to have the barrel fixed, front sight not quite at 12 o'clock, two clicks left just bugs me.

Contact Ruger Customer Service and discuss with them. They may agree to send you a shipping label and fix it free of charge.

Re: 32 sp101
Reaming the chambers certainly takes all "collector" status away...
I reamed a 4" sp101 to 327FM for trail use, and found out what a flamethrower it is with those 1500fps loads!
It is a Right, NOT a permit.
