SFAR, new rifle from Ruger

Yawn, I am not a buyer. Is this new/innovative in some way? I would not know as I have no interest in the so-called black rifles. As always, I hope Ruger sells a bunch!

Well, yeah. It is innovative. AR10s are much bigger and heavier than AR15s. To make a .308 in a 5.56 size package is pretty dang cool, IMHO.

Well, I did hear several things. One, none have hit any distributors yet (as of yesterday) Lipseys has them listed and shown but out of stock. Davidsons doesn't show anything about them. I also heard that Ruger wants to set up a package deal for distributors, etc., buy $xxxx ( I read $4000) of certain items to get a SFAR (really not that unusual for a gun maker to do that, gets some of the slower moving guns out of their warehouses.)

Ruger Corp SUX, they announce some AR looking POS thing and they show up on GB in a couple days....they announce a beautiful single 7 Bisley early 2021, never to be seen as of yet. At least we can hope
