Ruger Red Eagle Bolt

Post by Gwoody »

I've been looking for a classic Red Eagle and have finally found one from February 1950. But just my luck, the bolt has been replaced with a newer one and it does not have the proper cutouts for the safety (and bolt stop) to engage. Does anyone happen to have a Standard Bolt made before say 1952 they are looking to part with? Or know where I can find one?

You looking for a type one bolt. Those are scarce as hens teeth.
