RDA-86 Odd Duck

Post by hittman »

Not mint or with box.
Not a holy grail.
But I’ve got a soft spot for the odd stuff.
Pic stolen from the guy who sold it to me! :D

Thanks T.A.!
Mine is in the 150-395xx range.

I may use a little Mothers on the sides of that hammer to clean it up a bit.

I've got one also, mines 150-38364 produced in March 1973. Cleaning it up won't hurt a bit Hittman. Another way to clean up the sides of the hammer and trigger is with a dremel with an abrasive buffing wheel.

Thanks Ron, I hadn’t thought of the Dremel

That hammer cleaned up super easy with a mild Scotch-brite pad with a touch of Mothers, Really much quicker than I’d expected.
