261 prefix NR5F - 1 of 14?

I believe we've found a variation of the New Model Single Six fixed-sight (drift adjustble), model 0629, that was heretofore undiscovered. I won this gun in a Gunbroker auction that took me to the wall. Apparently there were at least 14 frames that were marked with serial numbers in a 1986 run of fixed-sight Bisleys but we're not completed at that time. They were held back and assembled in 1989 as part of the Davidson's special order of 500 of each barrel length. This one was manufactured in September and shipped in November. Here are some photos:
