Steel/Alloy ejection assembly ? Blackhawk

Post by Chinook3 »

I ran across a steel assembly are they after market? What models offered them? I assume they are preferred to alloy?

Steel ERH were on the early single-action revolvers. They later went to alloy/aluminum, I believe around 1962/63. There are aftermarket steel housings out there. The .44 Flattop that you are changing the safety conversion on should have had a steel ERH.

Well it’s in like new condition and I was thinking of using it. But I am working on a 1966 .41 mag Blackhawk.
We discussed some correct base pins and I have found a correct one. I see what you about mean about getting one with out the pin.
Seems you tube has pulled all their videos on the old models for assembly/disassembly. So still doing my research before i take it apart. Thanks again for your help,Bill.

Oh, thinking a 44 FT, the alloy housing would be correct for the 1966 .41.
